attempted plan to carl’s jnr for dinner but failed, ended up at swensens for the third time this week! the only rave is the $1 topup milkshake. the food really really sucks, and the service is way worst.

D cooked for everyone and it was great. He can cook so well and I’m a lucky girl. fun day we had, though there were some misunderstandings but D always manage to clear them out. i’m on a self quarantine, i told him. hahaha. more understanding from me please.

no pictures because the very stupid me forgot to bring my camera out. the blading trip was also postponed due to the rain and D was really tired after 4 hours of cooking. and i finally had my creamed corn (the promise 2 years ago!)

life’s good, enough for now. (:

before i start doing backlogs due to the upcoming busy weekend, here’s my friday. the july birthdays week.

Daddy’s birthday today, and we topped it off with a steamboat buffet at M Hotel! which was very good in my opinion, though i am not really a fan of steamboats!

desserts were very good, though i didn’t manage to take the durian thing, it’s really good!

i basically dip every single dessert with this sinful bowl. damn, i’m so fat now.

wei wei’s birthday celebration yesterday by family!
she was damn happy lah, haha. smiled until cannot see her eyes.

dinnered at dian xiao er, ordering the set meals. the food is so good!!
the early birds snapped up the peanuts in seconds.

tried this for the first time and it was freaking good though the fats were super daunting!

and the watercrest soup which tasted so home-like.

the least-liked dish, kai lan with lime or don’t know what.

i am, enjoying the serenity of sitting in a hidden corner of my office and doing all i want when everyone has gone home. this is good shit!! (:

i have my 2009 resolutions ready!

although i have only half a year left, but i’ll definitely try to achieve it all!
it materialized when jiesung told me how she managed to tick off her resolutions over the year and i thought it would be rather fulfilling for a lazy person like me.

so yea, let’s look forward to good news and no more “in-the-heat-of-the-moment”!

this has been a fast week, skipping work, helping D with reports and ppts, and everything else. now that everything is more or less more stable, i should be placing more thoughts on my future and myself.

Audit is beginning to sound bad, very bad. No one is giving a tiny bit of encouragement, and there isn’t even any monetary incentives now. boo. but well, everything is worth trying, especially since i have literally paid for it. but a backup plan is always necessary.

Today, i went Ikea with dad after my tuition. I am totally loving Anchorpoint man. minimal crowd (or is it due to the H1N1 thing?), absolutely cheap prices at C&K. i bought 3 pairs of shoes for a mere 50bucks. i would have gotten more if i had more $$! and i am currently loving 2 of the 3 now, crazily madly deeply in love because it feels so comfortable and the heels height are good! PLUS, i get to eat my Daim cake from Ikea, droodles. i could eat one whole of it.

now, i have decided to keep up with the youngsters and watch Boys Over Flower. hope i do not get too addicted!

Hong Kong Day 3 – 06062009

set off to Macau and Zhu Hai in the late morning.
it was an hour ferry to Macau, and subsequently about half an hour bus ride to the causeway between Macau and Zhu Hai.

Zhu Hai is such a big imitation field!
Shopped till we really dropped dead, the shops weren’t really very good, things are not as cheap too.

thereafter, we went back to Macau. and even though it wasn’t planned at all, we managed to loiter around the most popular area in macau! the architectures are a real beauty. macau was the better spot for the day! oh, i didn’t know that macau used to be under the Portugal colony, thus most of the shops still have their names in Portuguese!

and tried the famous pork chop bun and Portuguese egg tarts.

got no idea why the mother allowed the kid to do this.

we had dinner at this 15 minutes cafe in la selle, as suggested by michelle! the ambience was good and food pretty decent! they deserve a big picture.

i think they are known for their fish and chips. the serving was really generous, 3 long pieces of fish! all equally good, hahs.
