i think i am insane.

a much-awaited and last minute still insisted long-planned almost cancelled 6th January 2008 outing. haha. belated jul’s birthday!

 school has started, and it is really really really tiring to wake up for 1030 lessons everyday. although i am blessed with having to wake up alot later than some of the rest who stay further away from school, but still, i usually wake up at 2/3 pm you know. boo. pretest is released at 1730 later and due tomorrow. this sem, cui.

if i were to do an evaluation of the previous year, perhaps running again for CAC was the worst decision made. if it weren’t for that decision, i would probably be enjoying my damn holidays, and wouldn’t need to keep up with faces and words of some horrible people. damn. countdown to investiture - 8 more horrid months.

everyone is doing wrapups for 2007. here’s mine! but instead, i am doing a wrapping up of the SHORTS i got thus far! Reason being, i can’t give a summary for 2007 because as usual, many things happened and i cannot exactly remember the details and what i wanna tell. most importantly, i am LAZY. yes, you know me! haha. so anyway, i just flipped through my wardrobe and saw this pile of shorts, so here i am, to wrapup my shorts i owe so far! ok, at least those that i am still wearing! gee.

to kick off, i found a quote on shorts! wanky! “I love summer. Because it means I can wear a bikini top and shorts, even just to go shopping.” - David Wain; I have totally no idea why “David” wears “a bikini top and shorts” but anyway i love Singapore because it means i can wear shorts all year round! anywhere, anytime! so here’s a sneak to the shorts i have, i’m only showing the colour because the designs are more or less the same - short.

so first up, *drumrolls* WHITE shorts! white makes your hip big, but white colour certainly makes one of the best contrast against my skin colour! i’ve got 3 pairs of white shorts, one which is longer than the shorts-length, one which is more formal and one which is really casual! i have the whites for all types of occasion to pair up with!

next up, the classic BLACK shorts! black, to the contrary to white, ‘enhances your figure‘ and is the perfect colour to match everything! yes, i mean EVERYTHING!! which makes having 2 pairs of similar style black shorts worthwhile and i’m screaming for more black shorts!!

ARMY GREEN shorts! well, they don’t exactly look good on my skin colour, but this pair i have at home is really really comfy, so i wear it at home most of the times, or blading!

there used to be a period of time when KHAKI colour was the “in” thing, so i got one too! the pink lining of the shorts made it really unique, yilin has the exact one in white too!

LIGHT DENIM shorts! i got this pair in malaysia, and it really cost a bomb man! i thought it looked pretty, but denim looks kind of lian-ish these days. haha

dark coloured bottoms are the most easy to match kind of bottoms, but as black was too dull and common, i got DARK BLUE shorts as well! 2 pairs - one for blading and all occasions, the other one i’ve only worn once! DARK BLUE is the contemporary colour now! wheee.

HOT SIZZLING PINK! plus the super short length, i haven’t been wearing it for quite some time!

my beloved BULL RED shorts is best for running, and wearing it for stayovers! RED is confidence!

and the latest addition to the shorts family - GREY shorts! i’ve been wanting grey shorts for very long, so when i saw it on sale, i bought it without second thoughts! happy happy!!

the shorts i owe aren’t basically a wide variety of colours, but i like all the colours i have bought so far!! however, after this entry, it feels like i am still lacking of some designs. hmmm. now is the season to go CHECKED! isn’t it? haha. i’ll will keep a lookout for that and of course, more other colours, like green, brown, pink and YELLOW! seems like there is still more colours to be filled in the shorts collection uh. haha. well, let that be a 2008 resolution then :)
