KL trip update!
here to do a quick update so jul can read and continue mugging for her exams!
we took a really cheap coach up to KL.
and trust me, it is really well worth the price - $40bucks for 2way.
the package comes with free cockroaches along the way to keep you company.
how nice.

we booked Ancasa Hotel.
before the trip, i was quite freaked out by it.
but when we arrived, everything looked ok, except for the delay in check in. :(

the rooms were fairly ok, nothing much considering the price we paid.
sunk bed, fragile showerhead, dirty carpet, blood-stained hangers, small room.
all for only 75bucks, 3nights!
and so we deposited our bags at the hotel and decided to go ahead with our plan!
as we thought that we might be “tock” by the cab drivers, we decided to play safe and take the LRT system, only to find greater inconvenience.
like the singapore mrt station, there were many lines for KL’s LRT system too.
the only difference is they were not linked.
so imagine, you are heading to bugis from boon lay. upon reaching cityhall, you have to exit from the station, walk a short distance, and enter another LRT station to take one more station to bugis.
yes, that’s how advanced their LRT system is.
probably we should start treasuring what we have in Singapore :)
and the journey, which is around 5stops took us 2hours.
fortunately we met a very nice girl along the way and guided us as we took the wrong train.
thanks jiemin!

finally after a long train journey, we reached our first shopping mall, Midvalley Megamall.
yeah, it’s defintely a megamall.
take jurong point multiply by approximately 4, that’s about the size of it!
we only managed to cover a few shops, plus we were darn tired after the long journey.
settled for Manhattan Fish Market for dinner, nice cheese!
or rather, we were too hungry!
the next day was a shopping day!
had to rush to so many malls which were all freaking big.
seriously, shopping in KL is like shopping in Singapore.
all the shops are so freaking SIMILAR!!
but still, the sale makes everything worthwhile :)
started off with KLCC.

and the freaking high-class KLCC.
2bucks for a PREMIUM toilet entry.

camwhoring outside KLCC.

dunno what yilin was doing. hahaha

ok, i was the lousy cameraman. haha
and headed to sungei wang.
backalley: chee cheong fan! superbly nice!

shopped till we dropped.
and headed to jalan alor for supper at night!
it’s a popular place. like our newton circus in Singapore.
super nice food!
super good price!
super nice auntie!!

back in hotel, we celebrate the birth of the shopping queen.
the one who least expected to shop, but ended being the biggest spender of the entire trip!
*claps*

and after packing all her loots, she starts to count how much she has spent. haha

following day, Sunway Lagoon!
the rides were pretty much 360degree, which memichelle dared not ride.
sunway lagoon wasn’t up to expectations.
they probably should have more new stuffs, given my high expectations.

shopped around Sunway Pyramid after that.
goodness! the entire sunway was a tower, amazing architecture!
one of the random shots in yogurberry, a shop like minds cafe selling yoghurt ice-cream!

as night sinks, we couldn’t resist the good food at alor anymore.
so we went back again for supper!!
ooh!! especially the butter squid!!
i’m still drooling.

4 petite girls, cleaned out 8dishes!
no wonder michelle said she gained 3kg. haha

see, michelle?
now you know why. haha

splendid stall!
highly recommended!

all in all, it was a good trip! :)
now i am really enjoying the aftermath of exams.
ultimate shiokness!!
i don’t know if i’m the only one, i’m actually looking forward to my PA!
probably dreading the distance only.
830am for work, wow.
scurrying off to continue my Healing Hands 3!
ok jul, you can go concentrate on your books now!! :)
